oh yeah i missed the got damn deadline for Real World this time....but it probably wouldn't have been safe to send it in this early anyway...because who knows when they will start taping for the show
the last deadline for audition tapes for Real World was September 17th
I'm gonna get a video cam just for the sole purpose of conviently having my own cam when I need to do an audition tape for Real World
18-24 so I got six years to try out....and HOPEFULLY I will get on
that is something I really really really wanna do in life
I'd rather do something like Survivor where I could atleast make a Million Bucks..But I will submit tapes every year..
Oh yea I forgot, "The Big Break" that show is about Golfers trying to get on the PGA tour..Not too many young black men get on there..

Yeah I was doing some research on Real World yesterday to be exact and they have rules and stuff that I wasn't aware of (probably because i dont know)
and then they really don't get paid much at all...the director was like he won't disclose but he'll just its less than what it used to be and it used to be BARELY enough to buy a used car....sooooooo on that note im not looking for the money just experience...a big city (i haven't been to many) and just living there and stuff....its a GREAT experience either way you look at it in my opinion and you grow as a person....so its all good
I'll be back with the info I found out about the Real World (ya'll probably already know)
Among the ground rules on MTV's The Real World:
No TV. Banned since Boston, to discourage couch potatoes.
No socializing with the TV crew. All interaction is forbidden ever since Becky on Season 1 dated a director.
No maid. Cast members must do their own laundry and dusting. Cleaning products and a supply of food is provided at first. After that, the roomies must restock themselves.
No big bucks. The cast is paid a fee for their story rights. But producer Jon Murray never says how much. "I used to say it was enough to buy a used car. Now it's probably not quite as big a used car." They don't make any money off the DVDs or books, either. As Mike Mizanin of the Back to New York season says, "MTV's motto is, 'we won't make you rich, but we will make you famous.' "
No missing the 3 a.m. curfew. For safety, and so the camera crew can rest.
No boredom. Everyone needs a change of scenery. Each year, the cast travels on a group trip. The locales, in order: Jamaica (girls only), Cozumel, Hawaii, Kenya, Salt Cay in the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Nepal, India, South Africa, Morocco (with Road Rules cast), New England, Australia, several trips to Italy and Switzerland, Greece, Fiji.
No slacking. The cast of Miami in Season 5 failed miserably at starting a business. But the rest of the casts have had group jobs. In order, starting with Boston: an after-school program; a radio station; booking talent at a clothing store; hosts of a cable access TV show; at Arista Records; Chicago Park District; Rain nightclub; wrote for a Frommer's travel guide; the crew of an America's Cup boat; building a community playground.
