however...im not and in a way im a little offended by it....its almost as if someone is telling me that im nothing but a worthless girl with no values and no self respect for myself...a girl who cant stand her ground...a girl who can't wait for Mr. Right...rather gets satisfaction from mr. right now...a girl who doesn't know what she wants....

and yeah...its true..most of us regret giving a piece of us up like that...but does that make us any lesser than a virgin? It's all about choices ya kno...u choose to...or you don't...with either decision you make...that shouldn't be the basis of how someone looks at you...
given...there are your girls who dont give a damn if they are called a hoe...that is because thats the personality they give off....
then again...there are some slutty virgins out there who also don't give a damn if they gain the title "****" because thats the image they put out there and they are proud of it....

see...the biased side of me wants to read that post and be like..."YEAH! VIRGINS ROCK!!! " , but i can sympathize on where u are coming from Ashley. I just think whoever wrote it, was not trying to put down non-virgins in sense, just a way of making those who are virgins feel a lil more secure in themselves. Just like if someone made a post about the positive qualities of blackness and a white person read it & got offended. Post woulda never mentioned one negative thing about white people, just uplifting blacks, but a white person would only get offended if they took it personal. Same could apply here, if u are a non-virgin and u know that u have values, and u are strong-minded, and u are not hoe, then take the qualities of that post up top and simply apply them to yaself. Virgin or Non-Virgin, be secure and who u are :wink:
Everyone this is not being about a virgin or not and maybe I shouldn't have labeled it so but thats what the author has it about...I feel iits about being a woman, proud of yourself, and respectin yourself, and I do understand how yall feel but I dont feel that way and I am in no way tryin to put anyone down. I just think if you can identify with any of these characteristics or not then you are a very special woman still and deserves to be respected and loved.
