This weekend a friend and I were discussing "THE GOD OF AMERICA"
I personally believe the God of America is "SECULARISM"
The Savior being the "MEDIA"
So, who do you believe America Worships and what do think about the concept of Secularism and the media?

america worships the thought that whatever they feel is different then them is wrong and "sinful" and should be either ignored or destroyed...take iraq for instance...or even myself have been guilty of this, like my grandmother and her side are haitian and some practice voodoo, though i dont like my other relatives i have made comments insulting their religion instead of the person they are...thinking foolishly that religion and their personality could have links, but i know now the nicest and most down to earth people i know practice things other than what i feel is the norm...and the meanest people i know are the most die-hard christians

Mannyx, being that I am a media major( call me bias if ya want) of course I have to disagree with your statement. I think America's god is money. Now the media goal are to make money, but there are people in the media industry trying to make a difference, they just don't receive the recognition like the other media comglomerates.
