THE HBCU Band BattleFest 2004

William "D|ck" Price Stadium on the campus of Norfolk State University
Featuring:
Hampton University - The Force
Livingstone College - The Marching Blue Bear Band
Morgan State University - Magnificent Marching Machine
Norfolk State University - Spartan Legion
North Carolina A&T State University - Blue and Gold Marching Machine
Shaw University - Platinum Sound
Virginia State University - Trojan ****
Each band will perform Field shows and perform a Spirit Mix/Song in the stands. Also, each band's drum line will face off at the 50 Yard line at the end of the showcase!!!

Press box suites will be avaliable for groups of 10 or more.
This event is a fundraiser for all bands in attendance. Each band is encouraged to advertise in their local areas. This event is sponsored by The NSU Department of Bands in conjunction with the HBCU National Band Director's Consortium.
I have no choice but to go now, cuz I don't have anything else to do. They had to push back the Gospel Concert for Homecoming week because of this contest . I will go and support my fellow Spartans at the battle though, Gotta go ask someone for free tickets too. :arrow:
