At Hampton University, we have Ebony Fire (marching band dancers), Blue Thunder (cheerleaders), The Majestics (basketball game/event dancers).
Ebony Fire dances with more technical skills. Their style is more classy, and lady-like. They are very high energy dancers. They are not what they used to be a few years ago, but you can always expect these ALWAYS attractive young ladies to give you a high energy performance.
Blue Thunder- What can I say? These young ladies are always very attractive, and know how to shut the other school's cheerleading squads down. When they cheer, the command your attention. They shake hard, flip their behinds off, and even throw a few solid stunts without getting a hair out of place.
The Majestics- These girls belong in a video. They have the type of choreography that you see in music videos. They dont have as much energy as Ebony Fire, but they hold it down nonetheless.
The styles of all three are so different, that there is no beef. They're all good, and they are all HAMPTONIANS abover everything else.
personally i think that both the cheerleading and dance team are good. not at a particular school but all over. the cheerleading team gets the crowd in the mood and pumps things up and then the dance team give crowd something to yell about. its just about how you overlook the situation.
