Anybody else out there go to a Performing Arts H.S.

I go to a performing arts school and I hate it :evil: . I have to take classes I will never ever use in my life again :roll: ....My major is Vocal Music. I do not plan on going into music @ all!!!. Certain classes such as Music History and Music Theory I, II, and III are useless to me. As an eighth grader I thought it was gon be like FAME... (Love that movie)....I thought it would be fun... imagine my surprise when I discovered... It's a drag ..... I want to know if anyone else goes to a performing arts H.S. If so do u plan on continuing in your field? As for me, I love to sing but it's not fun for me anymore. Therefore I'll never really get back into it like I used to be.

I got to Governor's School for the Arts. It is like a part time High School for the arts. I LOVE it. In fact the only reason that I may not go into acting is because actors can be very very very poor. But whether or not I go into the major depends on Howard cause that is the only school I applied to for theatre...
