you can see the pain in his eye
Like an elderly lady on her deathbed
Crying to the Utmost High
he's ready to die
he's weary
the weight on his shoulders
makes his eyes get teary
he can cope with the struggle
The battles that come at him everyday
He's ready to die
Because rest is more secure...
..than unrest. Rest is better than stress
Rest is better than all he has to possess
He's ready to go
He wants to meet his Maker
So can ask, "Why Oh Lord?
Why did you leave me hanging
Did you forget about me and mine?"
Look at that man. And while you're at it.....
