How are the business schools?
Any advice for someone coming from South Florida?
I love to dance, and I was wondering, upon getting accepted, how do I go about joining the dance line?
I live in south florida too (fort Lauderdale) and i'll be going to the School of Business in the fall 2005. from what i've been hearing, it's one of the best business colleges for african-americans. My cousin who goes to Howard told me that the school of Business is the most organized. as far as the change from florida to D.C. I would say it's a big difference. I'm from D.C. originally so I know the differences. D.C. in my opnion is more fun. Mainly b/c in florida we don't have the subway and the bus comes every 45 minutes, so if you don't drive you're stuck. But D.C. you could take the subway/bus anywhere you need to go. I would also advise you to get use to the cold. b/c what we call cold here (55 degrees) is nothing.
What's the campus atmosphere like? What are the professors like? Are they personal, or do they just do their job and call it a day?
i dont attend Howard (yet  ) nor do i attend Morgan but i think it would be a good idea to go to like studentsreview.com or some sort of website that can provide you with some insight.
