WRITER'S BLOCK

Haven't posted in the forum in a cool minute...just wrote this one a few minutes ago so here it goes...for those of you that keep up with my xanga, y'all know who I wrote this about 8) WRITER'S BLOCK When presented with the concept of writer's block I sat and listened to you talk Of lovely things and hope-filled springs Then I started to gain ideas Thoughts began to fill my melon-head Thoughts of writer's block long **** As I listened to you go on and on and on About how the **** from down the hall gave your roomate head And then the convo thickened up Like a Fatburger milkshake in a paper cup It became more than just a verbal **** Oh what luck, that day, what a way As you pronounced those three lovely words and sighed And I cried, replied with tears Not 'cuz that was the day that writer's block died But because that was the day I truly came alive
