Yo what up.....now that this site has been corrupted and all of the fun has been sapped from it..I just wanna know, what websites are you guys going to from here....what message boards? It would be cool if we could all go to one together....anyway, Im sure it wont be the same if we go somewhere else as a big group and try to host some takeover, there's gonna be people other places as close as us...and we're gonna be outsiders, lol...

I have stripped all users of their admin rights and I'm about to strip all moderators too and just start it over again with the only people gaining moderator access being the people that got it from me.
The only people I recall giving rights to be moderator is actually 1 person: NeoSoulBrotha or however you spell that...
dude, if you knew how hard I worked to put this site here for you and everybody else to use, you would know how this post feels like a **** to the gut... Why not holla at me and let me fix the problem so that people can enjoy using the site instead of straight trying to have cats jump ship because of a few bad apples.

At this rate, I'm bout to find another spot. To be a college messageboard some of these folks are ignorant as hell. And niccas are too hyped about what's being post and where it's being posted.

Nah duke, I aint comin at you personally, and I aint stabbin you in the gut....I like this site, love it in fact, I been here almost two years, but....Im too mature for the b.s. that's goin on, (and that's saying alot comin from a guy who doesn't like to display his maturity)...man, Tiph and Rod have been kicked out...and even MY posts have been deleted, and I take that personally, like a **** to the gut, cuz I aint even go at Chris or Kisha like dat....and after the first post, the rest of the topic was about some completely different stuff...
When I say Im lookin for other places to post, Im just being honest, it aint like I just deleted this joint out my favorites and aint comin back...Im just sayin, in all honesty, this joint is sickening to me...it's not even funny, people been IMin all day talkin bout it like it's entertaining, but like I said to them, I dunno what's goin on, I dont care who got who pregnant..I dont care who cheated on who.....Im just tryin to network on the internet and make some online peoples...all this other drama is interrupting it....

Aight man, Ima be honest wit you, and offer you the best answer I can, as somewhat of a vet to this board...but, it's gonna be real talk....
First of all, strippin everybodies "powers" is the best way to start, it's the only way to go man...I say you keep NeosoulBrotha as a mod because, dude is mature enough to do it..and is the most universally liked person on here...
Second man, you gotta be the main dude deleting post like you said, just delete the **** and things like that...not the personal stuff...but, this is where the hardest part is gonna come in **** for real....man, you're dealing with a public message board, so it is NEVER gonna be disease free...it is what it is ****...as long as this board is accessable all across the internet, there is absolutely NO WAY to keep it disaster free, it isn't your job to, no matter what you try.....it's up to the discretion of the people that post here, point blank...
Man, you can put in rules, give people admin jobs, do whatever, and none of that is gonna do squat as far as makin this place better, because it's gonna have to come from the people that POST here....and, the bad part is ****, the crowd you cater to, is not the most mature crowd out there, let's just be real, you're going at college students for the most part, and slightly younger, I'd say the average age on these boards is 17-21...and then, if you think about it, most people here attend HBCU's....home of the drama....man, all this is, is a case of Art Imitating Life...or Situational Irony, whatever you wanna call it....this message board is called "The Cafe" of the HBCU.....and guess what, it's becoming one......atleast one like the one at NCCU...."There are popular cliques"...there are "lame people"....and there are people that are so bored with their day to day lives that they need drama (and not the good type of drama, the disgusting types that have been displayed lately)...but anyway...that's real talk ****...
All you can do is unban the people that deserve to be here, start everyone wit a clean state, and have NeosoulBrotha as the mod again, like he was at first...and maybe Jazzy, cuz as I recall, she was brought in when Neo couldnt handle it himself....
And next time we just gonna have to nip this ignorance in the bud before all the kiddies get ahold of it, and it gets too out of hand....seriously, it really sickened me, and made me feel like some of the people here were lame this last week when their lives consisted of this "internet drama" like it was an episode of College Hill or something...it's funny, cuz not too long ago, I was informed that alot of people on here think Im lame...lol..

It's a result of fallout.
The steps that you've decided to take are fair in this situation.
People are just real tentative right now because no one had any clue as to what was going on.
You CAN spin this in your favor.
Post a sticky thread sharing the facts of this situation.
Ask people to provide their sincere feedback as to what can help take the site to the next level.
Other than that time will heal this wound.
Some folks will return.
Some folks won't.
What you have to do from this point is set up good measures for selecting moderators and in the future admin.
I've shared with you a wonderful resource via PM.
I urge you to share it with your future messageboard staff.
I'm not sure who removed their accounts because there were 7 people in here that had admin permissions... Way to many, especially considering the fact that I only gave 1 person admin perms in the first place...
I'm trying to restore Rod and Tiph's user accounts now... This sux because I was trying to work on the hot chat room and I have to deal with this kind of stuff... Can't we all just get along? hehe
Anyways, yes I'm fixing this problem (no one has admin anymore) and I'm going to take a close look at all of the moderators on the forums...
Please: The best thing you can do right now for everyone on here is tell me your suggestions on how we can make this the best forum it can be for you as users.
