I just wanted to know why you guys are going to HBCU's. I think that other colleges are great but college is about more than getting a degree, it's about getting a complete education. A complete education consist of learning about the world, why your are hear, what are going to do in life and most importantly it's about learning about yourself. Now other colleges can fulfill all of those but an HBCU is obviously the best to learn about yourself and your people. I personally got accepted into some of the top colleges in the nation but I would turn down Harvard to go to an HBCU!

I CHOSE A BLACK COLLEGE BECAUSE I WANTED TO BE SOMEWHERE I CAN GET A GOOD EDUCATION AND LEARN MORE ABOUT MY HERITAGE SOMETHING I CAN NOT GET FROM A WHITE COLLEGE. PLUS ALL OF MY FAMILY THAT HAS WENT TO COLLEGE GRADUATED FROM A HBCU.

Hmm.... I am going to a black school because if imma pay money for a higher education why not patronize the institutions that my heritage has set up for me to learn in. College is about experiences and being around my people I for once will feel like I belong and enjoy all the joys of going to an HBCU. ASU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
