WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU WOULD HAVE KNOWN BEFORE YOU WENT TO COLLEGE? (THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE ****) ARE THERE ANY WORDS YOU MIGHT WANT TO LEAVE HERE FOR THE PRE-FRESHMAN ENTERING COLLEGE IN THE FALL?
I think that not knowing makes the college experience better because you get to learn and grow from it.
But in an effort not to sound like a geek...........
I wish I had realized the importance of networking and getting involved. I'm starting to do these a lot more now, but I wish I had started from my freshman year (I was too shy ).
Come on HBCU students, I know you have something to leave behind to us pre-freshman.(regrets, good words, teachers, classes, dorms) DON'T LEAVE US HANGING!!!!
I must co-sign with miss coco.... Not knowing and making mistakes is one of the major points of College. But I will tell you that a bashful attitude could be left at home. College Is all about networking (GO OUT AND MEET PEOPLE.. THEY DON'T BITE [unless you want them to]) but in all seriousness. Do get involved .. read signs that are posted up around the campus... they will tell you about the things that are happening... Great luck on your New Year ... Happy mess ups
You will never know what you want to know until you let the chance pass you by.
I wish I knew my school had no outside basketball courts but they have tennis courts. (you hardly see us play tennis unless we are tired of doing the other interesting sports, lol)
I regret not getting involved more.(but i have good reasons for not being able to get involved)
I regret not bringing my car.
I wish I could do my whole freshman year again. (i think a lot of people agree on that)
I wish I would have talked to my professors more often.
I wish I had visited my school before I came hear. (i went to all the others though, How smart of me? make Good decisions incoming students trust me)
So much more, I will try to get back with that info.

Agreed Nikki (my sis, i miss ya). Althought my college is pretty small, networking is always an advantage. Not only in college, but in life. Think "Sopranos", but legal (unless...).
I wish I knew how much money it costs to go to these schools!! Actually I would go to a community college and get my core classes out the way and then transfer and finish my 2 years at an accredited and respected school.

That's what a lot of my teachers say is best and that's why I've seen alot of 03 peeps in Richmond County but not me I'm out as soon as I graduate and won't look back twice...maybe once.
