or maybe "allowed" isn't the best word for it...but is it likely...that someone who is an Atheist would refer to God in ANY way, shape, or form...other than to say he/she doesn't believe in Him...
like "oh my God!"..."Oh, God"...."Lordy, have mercy!"....."Oh, Lord"...."God bless you"...or even simply "bless you" when one has sneezed (who exactly besides God is supposed to be blessing the person?!?)....
and perhaps the argument would be that the "God" or "Lord" that they refer to...might not necessarily be the one most people do....but then again, doesn't Atheism consist of the non-belief in any type of god, period??
hmmmm....so yeah, someone let me know....if you're an Atheist and you can shed light on this....or if you know of one....and have heard them say any of these things....or if u just have general input as to if Atheists can say these types of phrases and still deny God....& so forth....
