Top schools for Social work (Sociology) majors Posted on 04-12-2004

aiight ya'll whass good... i need to know what are the top schools for someone majoring in Social work (sociology)??? Get it back because now that i finally have a hint as to what i want to do with mines i'm tryin to get in a lil lil lil bit of research..... just holla back at ya girl please

Any school in an urban area...Norfolk should be good. If you want to do semi-white school Temple is good for psych and sociology.

As far as HBCU's are concerned NSU is a good school for Sociology (Soical Work) majors but thats the only one im familiar with to tell u the truth...

Social Work and Sociology are two different things. Social Work is a "helping" profession, working to effect change in groups or individuals. Sociology studies societies, cultures, like Hopi Indians or Aborigines, etc.
