Just today I got a call from this woman, telling me that theres a job for me working for T-Mobile...13, arguably 14 bucks an hour starting off with a full time schedule and they would need me probably immediately. Now alot of my friends say that they have to wait to graduate before getting a decent job, but what they dont realize is that their own talents and skills can relate to so much more money.
Data Entry jobs can range from 9 bucks an hour to...well alot. 22-25 bucks an hour alot. But you have to find the right places and have a TIGHT resume, no errors. Customer service jobs are great if you work for call centers (Hi, this be Nick whatchu need son?), but you sometimes need previous experience.
Why am I talking about this? My dad has three masters degrees and for a while he wasnt able to make over 12 dollars an hour, moving BOXES for UPS. Life changed for him, no doubt, but he told me the problem that he had with the job is that he had so much knowledge that was worth SO MUCH...
So if someone said they could give you a job paralleling your experience and skills, what job would it be and how much do you think theyd pay you?
