Please tell me that the Alpha Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta has an event or two that brings in money other than crossing a line.
Of course we do. Hmmm...there's this lil credit card fundraiser where u have to get a certain amount of people to up & u get paid for it. I believe it we did it last year, Sigmas did it this year. They were raising money to go to Conclave. I don't think they did too bad. The girlies sure didn't mind messin up their credit

HEYYYY another good way to make money is to sell your bone marrow! lol
get every 1 in the chapter to go donate their bone marrow you get bout $100 - $200 for it. Sh*t...being greek is so expensive that i came very close 2 it...but my mother talked me out of it and just gave me the money!

I've learned the hard way that best way to make money is not to spend it to try and raise money (kinda obvious but hey...) lol.
One thing that was very succesful last semester was something we dubbed "The Sinfonia Sessions". I worked out so well that we intend to bring back this upcoming year. It was pretty much a jam session/open instrument/mic event.
What we did was requisition a nice place on the campus (President's Dining Room). Decorated it some and flipped the lighting a lil bit (nothing too expensive) and set up a small lil stage area in the front of the room. Seeing that we have nothing but talented cats in the chapter already, we pretty much got together and came up with some ideas of songs and repertoire so that it was tight and jammed for the night. We also holla'd at some of the local cats who were nice too an invited them to come thru.
Students pay $5-10 dollars to see people perform in the local clubs around here like Apache, Churchhill, or 201 Courtland so why not bring it to them and charge less. Plus its an open instrument/mic so if people get up and play/spit they get a discount. Plus you really don't need any flyers (they do help)... word of mouth for events like this spread and we ended up gettin quite a bit of people. Not too mention its a fun event.

shoot why stop there, be an egg donor , you can get a couple of G's , donate a baby in the name of zeta ...fellas dont hesitate to let go of the "lil ones" in the name of your org as well
