You ever notice this:
Nobody's shocked when a black person attends a PWI. But jaws everywhere will drop when a white person shows up to an HBCU.
^^Why do y'all think that is? Post your thoughts
It's just uncommon. Just like it's more common to see a black man/white woman than black woman/white man. Also, black people have been attending PWI's for years. White students, mostly males, have just now started to frequent HBCU's. After awhile, people will get used to it.

An education is an education, and education is gold. If a white person would come to an HBCU for an education, that should tell us that we should take better pride in our institutions and support them more often before we lose them.
By the way, I'm still waiting...

At FAMU it doesnt shock anyone that we have a good number of white students...I guess we just use to seeing them...but at first it would catch me off juard to see a white guy or girl sitting in my class takin notes.
I know it catches me off gaurd when i see a white person on my yard, but by this time in the year i bout know who all of them all(all 8) but they are all either music education majors or education majors, since thats what my school specializes in..
