Some things that greeks and non-greeks should not post up in a public forum!! :-X I'll start it off: 1. Never disrespect another frat or soror. I seen one forum where this girl called one of the deltas a trick. I almost choked on my gum [-X :-& 2. Never come on here and tell what fraternity or sorority you would like to join... or should i say ::: would like to choose you ::: :-k Alot of this stuff is common sense but obviously some people lack the sixth sense. (****) Please add to the list if you wish!!!

Sure! ** Never come on a message board and tell folks what they should and should not do! And please don't tell Greeks what they should or should not say to their own frat/soror, especially if you yourself are NOT Greek  **Despite popular belief, Greeks and non-Greeks alike are not superhuman   Just like you may fuss and cuss with your blood sisters and brothers, the Sh*t just may happen with your frat/soror A lot of this stuff is "common sense" but obviously some people lack the sixth sense :-(
I never said that anybody couldn't say something they can clearly do what they want to do. I was just trying to get a forum started so that people will know what offends people especially greek people.... You definitely did not have to come at me so incorrect... i was not trying to offend you or anybody else. The thing that I was talking about as far as greeks go is that they won't tell secrets or anything else personal... from what i have witnessed on this site so far they don't diss eachother either... i have come across a few but it rarely happens. i guess you just took this the wrong way. i apologize if you were offended but trust me it was all unintentional on my part.

Huh?? :???: Your first sentence refutes your whole reasoning for creating this "forum" then. And my response comes from your inability to project the thread the way you intended to. You didn't mention any of the stuff in your second paragraph in your initial post... And just out of curiosity  why did you almost "choke" because someone called a Delta a trick??? Any answer you give will prove my point

The girl that called the Delta a trick was interested in being a delta... Her post was based on getting information on the woman of DST, if you are interested in a certain organization you definitely do not go around calling people of that org. tricks.... Another reason that she should have not called her a trick is because she knew nothing about her to disrespect her and call her anything. FYI: This post is more like an opinion.... of course people can say whatever they want to say it's the internet.... but for the people that are really trying to find out information on anything greek maybe they can take a quick look at some of the things that they should or should not post or say in order to not be humiliated by the people on HBCU CONNECT... All that was asked for people to do is to type what they feel is okay to be said in a public forum or what they feel should not be said in a public forum... It was not intended to tell people that they can't say something because they can still post whatever they want to. this forum is not gonna stop that... but for the people that are really interested in learning greek will hopefully take some of the things people put in here and use this to further their research... It's not intended to bring anybody down... it's more intended to help other people that are researching or interested...

In my opinion...nothing really needs to be said at all. U can get alot of information just from sitting back and reading. Too many times prospects ask questions that have already been addressed or answered in the another thread, they just didn't take the time to look. When i was a prospect, i never even posted in here. But then again, maybe i was a lil too big on discretion :o message!

No I'm saying she's ****. Not the tongue lashing that she's getting right now. People don't understand. You can learn so much by actually sitting back and observing. Put they'd rather be the sacraficial(s.p) lamb instead. I mean if she was a serious aspirant do you think she would approach any member of a D9 org. and say the things she's orginally posted? I think not..and if she did she's a damn fool. Sometimes it's good to try and use common sense. I have no pity for the people who make posts like this. If you want to know something then try pming it to the member... That'll be the day....when a D9 member listenes to a GDI on what to and not to say...
