I'll be attending Hampton this fall and I was thinkin' about doing marchin' band. I was wonderin' about their band program, so if anybody could give me the 411 I would really appreciate it.
being apart of "THE FORCE" is definitely hard work. i don't know when band camp starts you might have to wait until the next school year. The band is one of the best in to MEAC and they are very disciplined. being a band member takes up a lot of time especially during the fall semester because of football. for basketball season i think you have the option of being apart of pep band. but i would call 757-727-5000 and ask for the music department or the band director, Mr. Smart
Hey, congrats on your choice, future Force member!!!! I'm in the band (it will be my second year). Band Camp starts on August 11th....you gotta get an application from the school. You shouldn't have to wait untill next year, just call the music department and ask them to send you an application. You do have to pay though (it was $165 last year).
