The ESPN Scholars Program 2004, which will provide a scholarship of
$10,000 for juniors deadline is Friday, April 23, 2004. Each academic
year, up to two juniors will be selected to become ESPN Scholars. As an
ESPN Scholar, each student receives the following: $10,000 tuition
scholarship for his/her senior year, 12 week summer internship
beginning May 19th or June 2nd-August 8th or August 22nd, and a visit
to the ESPN offices located in Bristol, CT and New York, NY. Selections
will be based on a GPA of 3.0 or above, (transcripts will be
requested), an essay (1,000 words or more), 1 Letter of recommendation
from instructor, and a phone interview for finalists. THE STUDENT MUST
ATTEND HAMPTON UNIVERSITY AND BE ENROLLED AS A FULLTIME STUDENT
MAJORING IN A FIELD THAT IS RELEVANT TO ESPN'S BUSINESS. HURRY! Come
