I'm thinking about dying my hair. But I am so nervous, I don't know what to do :-k . Should I put a color rinse in first then dye it? Should I put the dye in myself? or betta off going to a professional? Please help me out......I'm so confused :-(
I would suggest going to a professional. If you have your own hairdresser, let her put it in that way you'll know that it was put in properly. I've had a few friends to dye their own heads, and it just didn't turn out right because it was either not processed evenly through the hair, or it was more dye on their scalp than on the hair itself. This is just my personal phobia though. I always said that if I were to ever dye my hair, I'd get it put in professionally.

I had to chop off my shoulder length hair to a Halle Berry type shortcut earlier this year because of a mishap with some hair coloring and a relaxer. Going to a person who specializes in color is your best bet.
