On the scale from 1-10 what is your absolute cut-off when your like I just cant allow myself to get involved with a person. I dont think I'd get involved with a man who isnt at least a 7, (6.5 if he's got a really good personality.)Just outta self respect. maybe im shallow but guys do it too. im just bored.

wow. umm, well.... :???: i dont know. there is always a beauty in someone. especially if you are really feeling them. they might not bea 6.5-10, but they might be the sweetest and most realiable guy you've ever been with. hard question, but i think i will always keep myself open to anything (or anyone). anything can happen.

I'm just DYING to throw my $0.02 into this one.... Ok...check it out: If I could rate my car on a scale of 1-10, as far as looks goes, I'd give it a 4. The poor car is 16 years old, has over 204,000 miles on it, and it's starting to show it's age. But it's been in the family since 1996, and it's been well taken care of before we had it, and we've also taken good care of it. It's had all maintence done on time, and is very reliable and durable. It's my baby, and it will always be my baby. Case in point: It's whats on the inside that counts. I know COUNTLESS of cars that are only 6 or 7 years old that have broken down WELL before it was time to do so. But a high maintenance car + a dumb car owner is a catastrophe waiting to happen. Same can be said about your significant other. If it's well taken care of, it will take care of you in the long run. Beauty goes WAY past the body of the car, because the body isn't what keeps the car running.

well its really hard to say cuz what I may consider a 10 someone else may consider a 5. I really don't go by scale anymore, seems so h.s. I just go on who they are as a person.

Soooo true! I try not to discriminate based on a person's looks.

^^Cosigns. You could really miss out on what a person has to offer if you base your relationships off this. Looks aren't everything. Although they do count for something, there's a lot more to a person thanjust his/her external features.

Where exactly can u find a scale of this sort :smt017 ? Can it be bought in a store or sumthin? Hell, i don't even like to get on a scale to find out my weight, so i'm surely not gonna use it for someone's looks. How can u determine looks with a number system? And why am i asking so many darn questions :???: ?

I agree with the others, you may miss out on the best relationship of your life worried about looks.
