You HAVE to use iTunes with an ipod shuffle?? Good thing I have an ipod because I wasn't payin a dollar for one song.

Well I don't know about Shuffle but you can upload any song, even downloaded ones, to an iPod. You have to use iTunes to add your songs to the actual iPod. It's kinda like a Windows Media Player.
