Hey Ya'll.. I know that this has already been discussed but I can't find the thread. What do I need in my dorm? I know I need clothes (Hampton women are known for their style) and that kind of stuff but what other stuff do I need? For my HU people, I'm staying in Kennedy and I don't know how big the dorm is gonna be so if someone could hit me back with that info, that would be cool too because I don't wanna bring all my stuff and not have anywhere to put it!

Bring some roach spray!!! But I'm sooo serious!! And bring some stuff to keep ya entertained cause its really boring....oh and bring some food cause the caf food is gross!! Like really!! Its gross! And a labtop cause walking to the ATM is nooo fun!! And you have to pay to print things! I'll think of more stuff later!
Ha ha walking to the ATM isn't THAT bad...if ur going to stay there a few hours. And the laptop thing...don't worry about that, since ur staying in Kennedy they have a computer in every room since ur an honors student. Bring LOTS of money for Walmart runs (cause Walmart is the spot!), food cause the caf food is just TRIFLING but it is good to bring some tupperware to bring food out of the caf when it's not bad (which isn't' often)...hmmm it's pretty hot there til almost thanksgiving but they DO have winter down there, so bring winter clothes too. Bring some cute outfits (or money to buy some) for cabarets...Alpha one is the best (so I've heard) shoot just bring LOTS of money and you'll be fine. OH yeah at Hampton, you can't live without a cell phone, cause EVERYONE has one. You sure as hell aint gonna be using the room phone unless it's to call an office on campus or something. Other than that I can't think of anything else.
Oh thats cool! Thats was one of my choices I was going to go to Kent for Nursing school, plus i could stay in my state!! OHIO!! 614! LOL but my parents told me I should try HU! So i was like ok sure!! And i fell in love! And i cant wait to go back in Sept!!
some of the colleges' websites have a link that list things to bring and things that are prohibited(i.e. gettysburg.edu)... in their search engine type in things to bring or dorm stuff (something along those lines). Also, like other people have probably said.. get in contact with your roomate... and if u think ya will be cool throughout of semester than don't double up on certain appliances.
