What does it say if an organization doesn't have a probate show? Because non-greeks or even greeks think if you dont have one then you are not legit...you are basically paper. Greeks what do you think???
A few of our organizations prohibit "probate" or technically "coming out" shows. Sometimes the individual chapters don't follow the rules, sometimes they do. That might be why they just came out.
Yes, some organizations prohibit coming out shows. I did not get to do a show because our line broke rules and sometimes you have stupid advisors who try to hold you down. They know how much it means too you especially if you have been preparing for it.
yah, there are certain organizations that prohibit these shows and i know how much trouble you can get into by breakin the rules.Basically you have the probate and then you'll be fined or suspended....meaning you pretty much are non-active or a t-shirt wearer. To say that those who don't have a show are paper....well, in some instances there are some who are just told to wear their shirts the next day because the people who brought them over don't think they deserve a show or they are just following rules....its going too far saying that someone is paper because they did not have a show...Don't assume cause people work hard to have those letters on their chests...but in some cases it could be they are "paper"... :wink:
probate shows are not allowed in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. because it's basically seen as a form of post-hazing....soooo...we just had a step show for tha big sistas outside...it's not our fault if everybody came to see... :lol: ....tha AKAs had a "sidewalk show" and tha Kappas had "Steppin on tha Quad"......tha Alphas had "Ice Cold in April"....and tha Bruhs...came out 30 min. after us so everyone was already on tha yard....but PROBATES are not allowed at GSU.... :roll:
