ok my homegirl is having a baby shower next weekend and just asked me to be in charge of the entertainment. basically I got to do some games. What's some baby games that yall heard of that you think would be FUN?
How about a concentration game or whatever they call it. The game that goes "concentration, *clap *snap, nomination, name a... whatever" and have everybody think of baby names in alphabetical order.
here's some games i've played at baby showers:
if you know the baby's name- write out the whole name on something everyone can see and see how many words everybody can make out of the name in a certain amount of time. the person with the most words get a prize
fill about 2 bottles with some juice and see who can drink it the fastest... thats really funny to watch
you'll need a bunch of clothes, a doll/ bear/ stuffed animal, a phone, clothes pins and a clothes line or something to that effect. the person playing is talking on the phone, holding the "baby" and putting clothes on the line at the same time in like a minute or whatever. the person who hangs the most clothes in the time wins.
eveybody gets paper plates and a crayon. you put the plate on your head and draw a baby the best you can without looking at what you're drawing. the one who's having the baby can't know who drew which picture and chooses the "best" one. that person wins.
dang Ive played so many games at Baby Showers but my mind is going blank right now...but Megan's concentration game is a good idea. I need to go call my auntie...That woman has planned NUMEROUS baby showers so she would definitely know some games.
get a list of the lady's registry and scramble the words, place them on a sheet and hand out... in a certain amout of time like 5-10 mins. (depending on how many items u have on the list) find out who got the most words unscrambled correctly and give out a little prize... ooohhh... bath and body works i believe is having a semi-annual sale still... so u can get some items there as prizes for the games... good luck and have fun!!
Heres one that I remember. Make a list of things that women would normally carry in their purses. For example, Makeup,tampons, pads, bills, papers with numbers, cell phones....Then call out the items and they have to put them on the table and have the other people at the table judge whether it counts or not....If It counts they get a point....person with most points wins
Everyone gets a pin when they first walk in. No one is allowed to say the word baby after they get the pin. If anyone says the word baby the first person who hears them gets the pin. The person who collects the most pins wins a prize at the end of the baby shower.
