weird...i went to Morgan State..in november...for an open house..they rejected me....i went to their admissions office..they said just bring in mid-senior year grades....i did....and i didnt here from them until late may....and they rejected me...in the rejection letter they said..nicely...dont even bother callin back....
my guidance counselor...called them...and had me talk to their director of admissions...and they accepted me... \/

Same thing happened to my best friend. She had activities, service, good grades & SAT scores. But she got rejected too. They told her it was b/c they had already accepted too many out of state students(she was from NY). A lot of schools do that and accept their in state students over their out of state applicants. But I don't get it b/c Morgan State isn't even that good of a school to be rejecting ppl like that. If it was Howard or somethin, then it would make sense to me.
But I got into all my schools except for Drexel, and I really don't care b/c I didn't want to go to Drexel all that bad anyway. I'm happy with the outcome tho.
Although I tell everyone I got accepted everywhere I applied, that's not the truth. I got into the one that counts(Howard) and 6 others. I did not however get into F.I.T(fashion institute) mainly because I didnt have a portfolio of sketches for them. I dont really care because Im going to Howard.
