Hi I'm a rising senior in high school and I've been doing my research on these two schools but I want to talk to some people who actually go there and find out the real deal on them. I plan on majoring in marketing, but if anyone has information that you think would be helpful to me: good scholarships, scholar. deadlines, or your personal experience and opinion of these schools, please feel free to share it. Thanks!!!!
Jenn U kno I luv ya ma but you're steering this young scholar down the wrong path. Its all about them Aggies. T-t-t-t-t-t-T Unit!!!!!!!
Aggie Pride all the way!!!!
Yo ma Jenn85 had it right the first time....JCSU ALL THE WAY!!!! Yo Smith is the place to be and dont let anyone tell you different!!! If you have any questions just ask me or Jenn...and dont worry about the price...cuz if your doing your thing in High School..they will give out mad money...take it from us... we both got big **** scholarships.... so come join the first and only HBCU to become an IBM ThinkPad University...and set yourself as a Golden Bull...holla
Im quite sure Johnson C Smith is a good school but I would have to say that you should really come to A&T. I love my school!!! You will get an great education cuz our Business school is really good and your social life will be off the hook. There is always something to do or something going on there. But i would say that you should visit both schools and see how you like them before you make a decision.
LOL..i got MADD love for my Golden Bulls, HELL my mom is an alumni, but i live in tha QC and JCSU wasn't it for me!! i have to go with Rodfather and Classy on this one. The school of business @ T is one of the best and campus is always going. As long as ur grades are hittin on something scholarships can be found for both schools. But like it's already been said...visit them both and u'll see which one is better for u. But ~!AGGIE LAND!~ IS the better of the two!
Ok let me first say that I'm not gona sit here and put down A&T cuz I'm going to JCSU... By all means A&T is a great school...I hate to be in Pure Magic shoes right now...becuz she has to choose between North Carolina's #1 State supported school and North Carolina's #1 Private school....All i can say is go visit both schools...meet the people ...talk to the students...what ever school you feel is you...jump on it...only you know whats right for you...holla
P.S. if you go to A&T....try to help there sport teams out...they need some help...lol...im just playin...but they really do need some help..lol
**** thats like choosing j-lo or erica badu its J C Smith all da way ****. Ps. ant's sports do neeh help holla at da boy on da track field 1
See all yall at orientation
Okay I am gonna comment on this topic because I used to attend JCSU from 99-01(but now I am a proud Bulldog of SC STATE UNIVERSITY) and let me tell you it was the best 2 years of my life but to be honest paying all that money for a lack of education is not worth it...Smith is good for a social and partying life but when it comes down to Business, Smith does not even have a school of business, everything is located on one floor which is not good...
When it comes to picking a school, especially business, you have to look at accreditation...NC A&T is AACSB accreditated...which means that your degree is very valuable if you get it from A&T...AACSB is the premiere international accreditation for business programs...in order to get this your business school has to be turning out good numbers of graduates, have up to date facilities, technologies, and a majority of your professors have to posses a higher degree such as a PHD,etc.
So if I was you I would look at that, but on the other hand Smith is a good school for computer engineer majors, and others, business is just not one of Smith's programs to be a part of, I still love Smith, so all you Smithites don't respond in a negative way, just accept the facts as they are
And I can't believe I just gave love to an Aggie Sike it's all out of love and that good ol' SC State and A&T rivalry...Shout out to all HBCU's and continue to support them...
P.S. SC STATE is accreditated as well as, and for the record there are only 13 HBCU Business programs with this accreditation so I would seriously consider entering a program with this recognition...and I like to see my HS students asking questions about colleges ahead of time...I only wish I did that before I jumped into the water without knowing how to swim, but you live and learn, and now I am a certified lifeguard 8)
