Okay I have a question that has been under my skin and I asked plenty about. What the hell does it mean to be placed on Academic Probation at an Hbcu. When I when I went to Michigan State if you feel under a 2.0 you were put on AP. If u didn't make a 2.0 after that you were kicked out of the univ....
Now I have been at Jsu for 2 yrs now. And I know this dude that never goes 2 class never ever. He told me that he didn't make a 2.0 the 1st semester than he didn't make one the next. And he still comes 2 school. I saw him on the yard when I was checking on something the other day and he said they put him on ap in the spring of 05. But he still was there getting his classes telling me he will be back aug 26. Now if you were placed on it in the spring you can come back in the fall. I'm a lil lost can anyone clear this one up for me? How and the hell is he back at school?
Well i dont kno how they do it at Hampton (school im about to go to) or any other HBCU.....BUT at VCU if your grades fell (mine did my freshman year) you were put on Academic Warning....you had two semesters of that if u didnt get ur grades up. Then after AW....you were put on probabtion...you had to sign a contract that each semester your GPA would be a 2.5 or higher until ur cumulative GPA reached a 2.0. If you didnt reach the contract goals u were suspended for a semester.
