What are some questions to ask (if any) greeks during an organization fair. At this time the person has done research and is already involved in activities, and has done some forms of community service. During an organization fair all the organizations on the school such as SGA, Greeks, NAACP, and there are many more. From what I hear and I have reason to believe that this is a time for people to express interest and I could be wrong. I'm just wondering if there are questions that should or should not be asked. And also what are some questions to ask?

I never thought of it like that. The organization I'm in I only get questions about problems dealing with new students.... such as "what to do if I have a problem with my roommate" or questions dealing with teachers. I know of questions not to ask. which I basically learned from this site. I however have not come across any information on good questions to ask when you are trying to express interest.
I think I would want the person to try to get to know me outside of my organization. Maybe come up to me and introduce themselves. I have done this in the past when I seen one of them walking to class or at an event but I don't know what to say at other times.
Alot of the greeks at my school are known as _____ the iota, or ______ the alpha. So I feel that it would be important to learn the persons real name and maybe see what some of the things that person is interested in and to learn their personality, and allow them to do the same with you if they want to.
But I may be wrong. I'm just a little confused about the situation. Not to mention that I was completely nervous.

Well it's over now. I just smiled.... and asked if I could take an information pamphlet. Then I asked her if I was supposed to turn the contact form back into them she said to just come to the interest meeting. I didn't know what to ask so I didn't really ask anything. I didn't want to ask the wrong thing.

How about nobody worry about what I want to join, thats not even the point of this thread. the point of this thread was to get information and i have recieved a little which has helped me .... I'm not gonna tell anybody on here what I'm interested in.... If/ when I recieve my letters than I will personally PM you first to let you know. Thankyou.... I'm not being smart but some things I do take personal and then there are things that I hold close to my heart and you are really hitting that spot with your comment. I hope that you understand that.
