I have a job, too. I'm working for the university where I'm attending graduate school, and I've been assigned to a non-profit organization called EPICS, which stands for Engineering Projects in Community Service. I like this assignment better than the one I had last year. So it's all good. Plus, it's a good resume builder.
There are alot of HBCU alumni on the site, but apparently most of us hang out in different parts of the website other than the cafe... As for jobs... I worked at at&t, bell labs, lucent technologies before I started hbcu-central.com and hbcuconnect.com... never turning back.
I'm a Benefits Administrator for a chemical company. Decent job... not a balla yet, but getting there.
BTW, the president of Oracle is a Hampton grad Holla!
