I dont know if any of you all have watched the news lately, but there has been this girl by the name of Taylor Behl-who went to my school (VCU)-who has been missing for about a month. Today they have confirmed that she is **** and found her remains in Mathews County, VA. Even though i didnt know Taylor personally-i find this very disturbing, especially since this happened a little too close to home. I ask that ya'll pray for her family as they are going thru this tragic time.
Something else that is also disturbing is that rumor has it that another VCU student is missing, but she is black and no media attention has been focused on her. I dont know how true this is, but if it is true this is very sad at how biased the media and my school is. I am hoping this is just a rumor-but you never know.
My school is not on my good list right now. I find it sad and sickening that students are being robbed, harassed by bums, their cars being stolen, rapists roaming on campus- DAILY and the police (VCU & Richmond) were doing nothing about and its a damn shame that a student had to be **** for them to step their game up. :x
