That sounds about right. If you've been with her several weeks and she expects that it's going somewhere, then it makes sense that she's playing you close. If you made it known up front you weren't in the market for something serious, it would be different.
Anyways, if you're not interested, then you have to let her know before it goes any farther. She will have hurt feelings, but less so than if you let it go on.
