...on one of the big networks (think: nbc, cbs, abc) with total control over the content (aside from extreme profanity/****), what type of show would you host? Late nite? (Think: Letterman, Leno, Conan) Daytime? (think: Dr. Phil, Oprah, Ellen, Tyra)?
I'd take 11pm hour, on ESPN, right after the 10pm Sportscenter goes off. It'll have a sports vibe. Letterman meets Larry King meets Best Damn Sports Show Period.

I would say 10:30
i would wanna have a late night show when most people like teens and adults are up. I think i would want something like a discussion type show. Something like Teen summit back in the days but for teens and a more mature crowd. I would want like a celeb guest on each show and get their imput on different topics relating to african americans and the world 
8-10 o'clock
discussing important issues concerning people of color

i would do a daily show typed show (cuz im funny as hell) and i would be completely arrogant (like bill o reilly) but i would be funny as hell and i would be rude to my guests, my show would come on 11.00 on TV land after good times reruns....itll be cool
mine would come on during adam corolla's time slot. it would have a "space ghost coast to coast" / "colbert report" / "****" / "entertainment tonight" sort of appeal...
BUT IT WOULD BE IN CLAYMATION
because Gumby played a very important role in my life as a child...
