Oh Sistergreek I know! I knew you would be happy about that. We went out to the Pink Party (**** Cancer Awareness fundraiser) and a girl OOPed.....she just did it. She does not feel too good right now. At first one of my sweetheart Sorors said something in the mindset that she didn't know what she was doing but she said, "Yea, I did it because I wanted to...that's why." She was immediately escorted out by 14 of the nicest people so she could lay down as she most definately must have been feeling ill.

Please tell me what is happening to our young people? Everytime you turn around a Freshman is saying what he or she is GOING to be. I don't know if this is happening at any other campus, but its too much. Girls coming up to me as self proclaimed Delta groupies, giving me their phone numbers, buying my Sorors and I gifts and leaving them in the chapter mailbox in the S.C. What is going on??? I have said it and I'll say it again, we are in for trouble my fellow Greeks. These young people have no sense of being discrete or respectful...maybe its just at A&M, but let me show you what I saw on a webpage. This is dated 2004-her Junior year in HS, making her a current freshman:

One of the MAIN reasons I dislike highschool greek groups; and to a lesser extent step teams when they use greek letters. But this same attitude is not only among greeks, it's among many younger college students period. F the entitlement. You don't deserve to be CEO of a company at 23; you don't deserve to make 80,000 a year your first year out of college, and you certainly don't deserve to be greek your sophomore year. You have to work for yours, just like everyone before you did.
I'm actually more saddened by that fact that that young lady wrote that as a junior in highschool and she couldn't even formulate a decent sentence. If i see "we be", "they be", or "i be" one more time i think i'm gonna lose it :x . That young lady needs to concentrate on getting her grammar together before worrying about what Greek organization she wants to be affilliated with :???: .
When i read that, i saw a young girl that is crying out for some guidance & a mentor. If anything, she should be contacted, not to be belittled or badgered, but assisted in developing herself into a mature young lady.
