I Have never understood it. What is so wrong with being with the person that you truly love for the rest of your life? You could have the perfect girl, but you wont commit to her. Why?

i feel that its a combination of things... 1.)men dont want to get played or get their feelings hurt....so they try to keep it distanced to protect themselves 2.)then, we are trained by or surroundings, peers, or media, and in my case our male figures that we should explore and talk to many girls.....and we get points for doing so. 3.)and we always think we have to take **** if its thrown our way or available to us...i think its an ego and status thing

The same reasons why it's so hard for some girls to commit. The list is wayyyy to long, but I'm sure you can think of some reasons. Men and Women aren't tooo much different in that respect.

this is true. i know that i have a lot of problems committing these days because i've been hurt so many times. there's no rules that say guys haven't been hurt too, just ones saying they can't acknowledge that hurt. and for me it's also age. even if i'm mature enough to commit, why do it so early?

Give a good guy a reason to commit, and he'll do it. Dude just might not be feelin' you. Just because you went out with him isn't a reason to commit. That would be desparation... :???:

Yet another topic that I can give an experts opinion on I have to side with the men ladies, sorry. Women are just as ****/unstabe or any other word you can use to explain lack of commitment. I should know, I am one of them. And trust me it has its reprecussions. I lost a guy that treated me like a queen and loved (loves) me with ALL his heart but due to the fact that i refused to acknowlege the fact that I loved him too, I eventually lost him. I regret that everyday!!!! I think some women (and men also) just fall in love (or think they are in love) way too quickly and expects their mate to feel the same way they do. People need to realize that others take more time to feel you out...thats all. SO STOP EXPECTING A PERSON TO FEEL A CERTAIN WAY JUST BECAUSE YOU FEEL THAT WAY Trust me thats how you end up hurt.
