what the heck were the judges thinking? Twitchell knew they weren't supposed and if I were a trendsetter i would be pretty upset if basically the whole campus was saying we sucked and they didn't know how we won!!!!!!!!
and what happened to the time limit? is that not a factor anymore?

Shoulda Woulda Coulda. Twitchell won, the end. The judges thought they were the best so we won. Better luck next time. Maybe the other dorms just needed to step up their game.
And as a Trendsetter im very happy we won. I think we had the OVERALL best performance. As in theme steps and dialoug(sp)
When the time came for the winners I knew it was between Twitchell and VC so the other dorms don't really compare in my opinion. They were the best two.
Oh and if ur going to do this kind of poll you gotta be fair and put all the freshman female dorms on there. You forgot Davidson :lol: sorry i couldn't help but to go there.
I still got mad love for every dorm though.
Twitchell's performance was soooooooooooo boring. Their theme was wack. I will give it to VC, they were good so they should've placed but KENNEDY or KELSEY should have also placed. Everyone (except the trendsetters) think the same way i do. I heard so many people talking about how twitchell shouldn't have won and how bored they were in the audience.
I didn't put Davidson in the poll because I wasn't wasting my time. NO ONE thought they should have won. They knew they shouldn't have won. They were embarassed to even talk about the step show.
first and foremost, you should have been fair in this poll and listed everyone. secondly the step show is OVER and has been for many many months. LET IT GO!!!!
i am obviously a TRENDSETTER!!, but not a hater so let me inform you why VC didnt win amd why they deserved second place and you can take this a move on....... because trust when i say that if VC had made some changes i could see how it would have real real real damn close.
a percentage of your points is based on keeping up with your theme. now whether you thought twitchell's theme was boring or not we kept up with it while VC did not. the theme was "disturbing the peace" if i am not mistaking. but you would not have known that if that sign would now have been up. VC BROUGHT THE STEPS!!! we do not deny that, but they were too hard to follow because of the formations and it was too much going on at one time. and after a while i got bored because the show was not entertaining. watch the tape ma ma. if you notice how everyone cheers for twitchell and VC and Harkness cheered for VC. and what took VC so long to get their trophy. to me and others, it looked as though they werent going ot accept it. it looked like bad sportsmanship.
the step show and freshman week were all in good fun. if you lost dont be a sore loser. take what you already did and make it better, but DO NOT DOWNGRADE YOUR SISTERS in an effort to lift yourself up. good luck next year!!!!!!! cause you can trust and believe i am goingto be helping the new twitchell girls and we are going to bring it harder than ever!!!!!
oh yeah, i almost forgot Kelsey, their steps were so good cause i saw them that night in front of James Hall (oh ooh oooooooooooh). but i couldnt tell what the hell they were doing on the stage because of their outfits. but all and all i thought Kelsy did an excellant job. and if you watch the tape you will see the minor mistakes that maybe the judges saw and maybe that is why they didnt win, i dont know. :?: :?: :?:

and precious, the whole campus is not saying that twitchell shouldnt have placed. even people i know that live in VC said that we did well so maybe thats just the nigative world you are living in. holla

P.S. this is just a little note: for yall that did not participate in the show. the show is more than a step show it is a bonding experience for all that participate. even the girls on davidsons team. if you noticed their performance wasnt that great but days even weeks later you still saw them walking around together, going to parties together because of the bond they had made with one another. if you didnt partipate you wouldnt understand. but friends are made, enemies are forgiven and a good time is had. so i respect and hace mad love for anyone who participated in the show because its not easy giving up your free time to practice, or go to dinner with your team members, or stay up till 3 in the morning tryin to get the steps right. so unless you participated in the show you have no room to bash anybody because it takes heart to do what we did and if you didnt do it its time for you to BE EASY!!!!!

it seems as though our little friend precious has too much time on her hands and thus has no life. whats wrong baby? did you fail to land a summer internship or job, so now you feel its your duty to bash my sisters of Twitchell Hall. ummmmm, well i'm here to tell you that several trophies dont lie. we have landed first place for all the years that the step show has existed except for one year. so maybe they mad eone mistake, but do you really think they kept making mistakes year after year. i dont think so.
I'm a Knockout and Imma be real with it:
The Trendsetter's show was HOT!! The step was well put together and you can't hate on the Black Power theme!!!
The Cuties were about business! They were together when they stepped and stepped nicely!!
My fellow Knockouts were off the hook!!! Yall were very creative while stepping together at the same time!! Yall put on a good performance!!
The Divas theme could have been better, but they stepped ok.
The Queens stepped well. I kinda forgot their theme.
And I know we're not talknig about the guys, but the brothers in James held it down!!! Once they performed, it was over!! Everything from the steps to the theme was NICE!!!
I was just wonderin why ya'll never mention the queens, and from what i heard they stepped pretty well...at least better than the divas..but hey this is just a question...cuz ya'll mention everyone else but them
It was probably an accident...I guess... but Kennedy brought it and did a heck of a lot better then the Divas. I say this because I could easily follow along with Kennedy's performance. I couldn't with Davidson, but that may have been because people were being loud and booing and stuff around me. But there's next year. I know if they have a freshmen step show next year I will definitely be there it was the best show of the year!
