I went to high school day last year. I liked it. The first event of the day was a ceremony in the convocation center. The choir sang and different people, including the president, spoke about the school. Then everybody split up into groups and were escorted around campus by the students. They took us wherever we asked to go (like inside of the dorms, etc). After all this, there was a step show featuring the band, some of the sororities / fraternities, and dorm step-teams at the convocation center. At the closing of the day, there was a little festival outside with music and food, etc. I hope I didn't forget anything. You should definitely go if you plan on attending HU.

i definitely didn't go, cuz i definitely didn't get accepted to hampton until, like, a week after high school day last year, but everyone i've talked to (who goes to HU now) says that it was so much fun, so if you can go, then go. i'd advise whoever goes to bring a jacket; even though the thing's in april, Hampton is right on the water, so its still gonna feel kinda wintry.

Yea, my cousin and i went down to Richmond in like the middle of spring, it was snowing.. when we came back up towards Maryland, it was a totally different spectrum from snow, to birds chirping..
