When you get out of school and start makin enough money to survive on, will you be one who tithes at your Church?
Personally, I have seen too many corrupt things happen in the churches, even my home church, and I don't feel I would want 10% of my yearly earnings to go directly to any church. However, I would use the money that could be tithe money to help the community, and probably in direct ways such as helping individual kids I may know of who need financial help in school or poor families. Before I was born, my home church planned to build a very large church across the street to be the new church, and they had received 2+ million dollars from tithes, donations, and offerings....but the project completely collapsed, supposedly due to a lack of money, and NOTHING at all was ever built. My parents told me that they lost 3/4s of their membership from that move alone.
