Im saying, have they even sent out rejection letters yet? They are killing me softly. Im being as patient as I can but if im not going to get a yes, a no will do anytime soon! Me and bunch of others I know applied in like November but they still haven't got back to us on ANYTHING...
So if they sent u a rejection letter would u be bold enough to tell us! or if anybody knows of anyone. Names aren't necessary Im just wondering what they're doing.
L0L Laura! I was wondering the same thing girl! I dont know anyone who hasnt been accepted but then again I dont know too many people that applied in the first place. The only person I know of who has been accepted is Britt But I dont know anyone who has been rejected and I am still waiting on a letter of rejectance or acceptance lol but right along and now it doesnt even matter if I get accepted or not I just want a response because I need to get the registration fee for Hampton ready lol but the Spelman site said that we should be getting a response by April 1st but they pushed back the application deadline to Feb 15th so I am wondering if that will have an affect on the date the acceptanc/rejectance letters are sent out?

My friend Aneesa applied there and she got an accpetance letter her twin sister Anastasia got a rejection letter but Stasia did get accepted into VSU CAU Hampton so she can go there

Spelman is notoriously bad at getting acceptance letters out on time. However, I do know that Spel-Bound, our accepted students' program, is scheduled for April 2-3, so you would have to get your acceptance letters sometime before them to make travel arrangements and things.
If you applied Early Action back in November and you still haven't received a decision, call the office of admissions. They were supposed to send you a decision by December 31. If you just applied regular decision, it doesn't matter how early you apply...everyone gets notified at the same time.
If you do get accepted, DO come to Spel-Bound! It's tons of fun and we always have a lot planned I see a lot of my Spel-Bound sisters walking around campus now as students, and it's a great way to meet both upperclassmen and your own classmates/future roommates!

LAURA ! Girl you will get accepted and if not dont worry about it because you have been ACCEPTED to HAMPTON UNIVERSITY !!!!! My best friend received her acceptance letter today from Spelman and she usually receives things a few days to a week before I do so your letter is ON the WAY girl ! ... I just realized today that it doesnt really matter which school I attend because wherever I go as long as I go in with a positive attitude and make the best out of my overall experience I will be alright ! ... and you can Always transfer if things are that bad lol but I love HBCU's so much l0l ! But I wish you the best girl l0ve ya! : ) Ooh yeah ... d0nt laugh when you get that letter I sent in the mail lol its sooo Cheezy but thats how my school is ahah!
