The average length of employment for full-time faculty is over 13 years, while part-time faculty average over 10 years of service. Oakton assists employees in expanding their educational options and opportunities. Every employee has a budget for professional development to enhance their skills and education. After one year of employment, employees will be eligible for tuition reimbursement for credit-bearing programs of study at a college or university.
