Assistant Professor of Clinical - Medicine, Hematology (Lymphoma and Myeloma) Location: Doral, UM campus & satellites This faculty position will have clinical and research responsibilities within the Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. This individual will serve as an attending physician in the Division of Hematology, with focus on the care and treatment of patients with lymphoma and multiple myeloma. This includes outpatient care, as well as inpatient attending responsibilities for the division (on inpatient units at UHealth, Jackson Memorial Hospital and/or UM satellite clinics).
This individual should be motivated to support the research mission of the Department and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center to advance patient care for the patients of South Florida and beyond. CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

CORE QUALIFICATIONS Education: M.D. in relevant field required Certification and Licensing: Board certification or eligibility in Hematology and/or Oncology is required. Active or eligibility to obtain a Florida Medical License. Experience: Qualifications should include a demonstrated track record of excellence in patient care, peer-reviewed publications and the potential to serve as principal investigator of cutting-edge clinical trials for lymphoma patients. Experience working with multidisciplinary clinical and research teams, in teaching, and will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Department Specific Functions This position is for an Assistant Professor of Hematology primarily at the new UHealth site in Doral but can expand to UM medical campus and satellite clinics. The Faculty member will focus on both inpatient and outpatient care of patients with hematologic disorders principally in Myeloma and Lymphoma.
