The primary purpose of the eCRM Strategy Leader is to align with business objectives and strategies, and provide consultation and recommendations on client-journey creation and communications using eCRM technologies. Oversees big-picture view of all campaigns and programs, measurement, performance and relative impact on the client experience. Directs business and technical requirements gathering, messaging and campaign development for strategy and execution.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees strategic planning and channel recommendations for email and marketing automation to support integrated marketing communications for designated business segments.
Manages strategy and execution team, and owns collective program group performance to business stakeholders and leadership team.
Oversees and directs coordination and collaboration among team, and other cross-functional stakeholders, for messaging, campaign, and segmentation development, data provisioning and list deliverables.
Responsible for teammate training and development. Directs product strategy for email and marketing automation technologies; product owner for SAFe Agile planning with regard to program and capabilities enhancements.
Directs email marketing A/B testing program. Trains program managers on testing methods and establishes benchmarks for tracking future progress.
Directs reporting, insights and analytics strategy that inform program and campaign planning and performance in continuous cycles.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelorís degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field
7+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the marketing (or related) discipline; Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes.
Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure, in addition to leading a team of professionals.
Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.
Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.
Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective.
Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry.
12 years of Marketing, product management, e-commerce or consulting experience, with demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction to lower-level digital managers and analysts
10 years of experience managing the execution of successful demand generation and automation strategies
7+ years of experience in marketing automation administration, utilizing marketing automation and CRM platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua, Acoustic, Adobe Campaign, etc.) to fulfill customer journeys, drive client acquisition and retention, deliver on revenue goals.
Thorough knowledge of digital marketing tools, technologies and channels and how each can be leveraged to execute upon superior digital-marketing strategies.
Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, UX, Design, Compliance, Risk, and IT.
Ability to develop strategies that break long-term goals into short term wins to facilitate learning, quick iteration, with shorter time to market and return on investment, with demonstrated ability to apply agile marketing methodologies and processes
Strong quantitative, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for measuring results, identifying actionable insights
10 years of experience in banking, insurance and investments across multiple client segments including consumer, small business, wealth and commercial business
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
