Job Description
Associate Sales Operations Analyst-Retail
The sales operations analyst position for Best Buy is responsible for providing sales operational support and coordinating, collecting and processing payments and credits with Best Buy. This role will involve daily interaction with internal AR and AP teams as well as GE Appliances internal finance, fulfillment, sales and marketing teams reporting directly to the Senior Director, National Accounts- Best Buy. The position is in Louisville, KY or potentially remote.

How You'll Create Possibilities
  • Verify, validate and process Best Buy’s deductions each month
  • Review Best Buy’s market development fund (MDF) requests and confirm that the dates, models, and retail sales allowance (RSA) support match the RSA tracker. Save all MDF docs to Best Buy folder for tracking.
  • Work with Best Buy’s merchandising analysts to provide supporting documentation.
  • Work with Best Buy’s merchandising analysts for paybacks when requested.
  • Work with GEA AR team to process weekly and monthly claims
  • Collaborate with Senior Sales OPs, National Account Sales Managers and Sr. Director on proper payments and credits.
  • Verify all reimbursement requests and payments (MDF claims) for promotional support, packages & others and execute in Best Buy system as well as monitoring and approving internally.
  • Pull weekly sell-thru sales report to identify any new models being sold and update report as needed
  • Pull internal programming and offer report (every 3-4 weeks) to identify any new “offers” being setup
  • Work Closely with GE Appliance finance team to ensure the correct programming offers are being booked

What You'll Bring to Our Team

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university/college or equivalent accounting/clerical experience
  • Strong Excel skillset

  • Effective organizational skills
