Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist

Location: Melville, NY

Position Type: Temporary (January - May, with potential for extension)

Company Overview:

Ultimate Staffing is looking for a top caliber front desk person to assist with one of our clients. Our client is a professional tax firm in Melville, NY, dedicated to providing exceptional tax services to their clients. As they approach the busiest time of the year, we are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to join their team as a Front Desk Receptionist. This temporary position will play a key role in supporting the firm's daily operations by managing client interactions and appointment scheduling.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner as they walk into the office.
  • Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, directing inquiries, and responding to emails.
  • Schedule appointments for clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Confirm appointments via phone or email and handle rescheduling as needed.
  • Provide clients with forms and materials as required for their appointments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assist in filing and organizing client documentation.
  • Ensure smooth office operations by liaising with staff and coordinating client needs.
  • Help with basic administrative tasks, including data entry and office supplies management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, office administration, or receptionist roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Professional and friendly demeanor with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Schedule:

  • This is a temporary position from January to May, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
  • Monday through Friday, typical business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).

Compensation:

  • Based on experience between $17.50- $22.50
