Certified Medical Assistant - New Haven

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join their client's team in Connecticut. This role involves providing care to patients in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will ensure a positive experience for all patients and support the medical team with various tasks.

Job Summary:

The Certified Medical Assistant will provide care to patients--ensuring that each patient feels cared for and valued.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment for all patients that enter the department.
  • Room patients, measure and record vitals, collect specimens and obtain patient medical history.
  • Enter patient demographics in the EPIC system.
  • Prepare patients for exams.
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling patient information.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related work experience and a high school level education, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Certification by the American Association of Medical Assistants or the American Registry of Medical Assistants, or the ability to obtain certification/registration within 90 days of employment.
  • Epic experience preferred, not required.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours

Pay:

$27.06 per hour
