Job Description
Sr. Electronics Technician (JN -012025-385585)

We are seeking a Sr. Electronics Technician to join a client in Newark. This is a full-time, direct hire position. Hours for the role are Monday -Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm and Fridays 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.

Candidates must have Module Level Rework Troubleshooting to be considered for the role.

Job Duties:

  • Test high voltage and high power devices such as power amplifiers.
  • Assist engineering staff with troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Prioritize workload to make sure testing schedule runs in coordination with production line.
  • Troubleshoot and perform repairs on electronic systems and subassemblies.

Requirements:

  • Proficient with multi-meters, high voltage power supplies, oscilloscopes, pulse generators and variacs.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and finding solutions.
  • Proficient in working off electrical schematics to analyze, test and repair electronic hardware.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient in use of spectrum analyzer.
  • Familiarity with AGILE or an equivalent product lifecycle management (PLM) system.
