Full Charge Bookkeeper (JN -122024-385334)

Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team in California. The successful candidate will handle comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of financial processes and a proactive approach to managing financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Oversee invoice management, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Handle accounts payable, ensuring all invoices are approved and paid on time.
  • Manage contract management processes, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Month end closing - journal entry posting, general ledger reconciliation.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics- Preferred.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable, payable and contract management- Required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills- Requred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities -Required.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite- Required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal-Required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Required.

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, first shift.

Additional Details

The salary range for this position is $35.00 to $45.00 depending on experience.
