Director of Compliance & Equity / Title IX Coordinator![]() Director of Compliance & Equity / Title IX Coordinator This is a Full-Time, Benefited Position. BARGAINING UNIT/NON-UNIT, CLASSIFICATION (If Applicable): Non-Unit ANTICIPATED START DATE: Monday December 8, 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter. SALARY RANGE: $75,000 to $80,000 commensurate with education and experience GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Director of Compliance & Equity / Title IX Coordinator serves as a key leader within the Office of Institutional Mission, Culture, and Climate (IMCC), responsible for ensuring institutional compliance with a wide range of civil rights laws and regulations, including Title IX, the Commonwealth Board of Higher Education's Policy on Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, and Diversity (PAA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)/Section 504, and Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act. As the College's Affirmative Action Officer and Title IX Coordinator, this position provides expert guidance, technical assistance, and oversight in the interpretation and application of these laws and policies. This role leads the confidential investigation and resolution of discrimination, harassment, and equal opportunity complaints involving students, employees, and campus guests, and ensures appropriate documentation and reporting in accordance with applicable laws, executive orders, and institutional policies. The Director also works closely with Human Resources and other departments to support appropriate accommodations, recommend corrective actions, and ensure fair and equitable processes. In partnership with campus stakeholders, the Director develops and delivers impactful training and educational programming to build awareness of rights and responsibilities under equity-related policies and to advance the College's commitment to Inclusive Excellence. A key advocate for the IMCC Office, the Director promotes a culture of belonging by cultivating inclusive, respectful environments where individuals of diverse identities and lived experiences feel seen, valued, and supported. This position plays a critical role in institutional equity and strategic planning efforts, conducts audits and policy reviews, coordinates campus climate assessments, and serves on key committees such as the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT).
