Job Description

Albemarle is hiring for an Operator Trainee. This position is onsite and located in Silver Peak, NV.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and control the production process, operations for Anhydrous
• Treatment and control of anhydrous
• Other duties may be assigned as dictated by production duties. 

What You Bring

• General knowledge of processing equipment, such as, valves, piping, pumps, steam generation, and heat transfer, as well as, packaging equipment. 
• Ability to take readings and measurements from process instrumentation and to make necessary calculations for process control. 
• Ability to maintain and use process records, logs, and SPC charts for process control. 
• Ability to follow written instructions and to comprehend the operation of a complex processing equipment. 
• Ability to work safely in a chemical processing environment and to work effectively with others in a team environment. 
• This is a shift work position with rotating 12 hour schedules.
• Will be required to operate a forklift. Training will be provided.
